Our clients initially contacted us to investigate persistent leaks affecting the second storey of their home. After carrying out a thorough assessment, it became clear that repairing the existing cladding would not provide a long-term solution or allow us to confidently guarantee the work.

Instead, we worked closely with the homeowners to develop a complete recladding solution that would not only resolve the weather tightness issues but also deliver a durable, low-maintenance exterior with lasting visual appeal. Once they had selected their preferred cladding system and finishes, we collaborated with architects to produce detailed plans tailored to their vision.

Following the clients' approval, we managed the consent process by submitting the plans to council and overseeing everything required to obtain building consent. Once approval was granted, construction commenced with the careful removal of the existing second-storey cladding and windows. We then installed a rigid air barrier and cavity system before fitting new thermally broken aluminium windows and vertical 5-rib cladding, ensuring the home met modern performance and weather tightness standards.

From concept and planning through to council approvals, construction, and final completion, we coordinated every stage of the project and managed all trades involved. The result is a complete transformation that not only resolved the original issues but also delivered a modern,high-performing exterior that will protect and enhance the home for many years to come.
